Calling simultaneously to minimize latency
Many folks ask us what is PromptArmor's latency. Because we have always returned faster than an LLM call, the best practice is to call PromptArmor at the same time as your LLM call, and quit out of the LLM call if PromptArmor returns true. This way, there is no added latency when calling PromptArmor. Here is a simplified example in python:

This only applies for /analyze/input
and /analyze/action
. For /analyze/output
you would have to pass the LLM response to PromptArmor
Optional: Passing in a Source and Destination
If you want additional granularity at the level of which sources (e.g. mail, support tickets, public codebases, etc) and destinations (e.g. databases) cause issues, you can pass in optional source
and destination
parameters.
